Coming Back From Holiday Can Affect Your Car Insurance

It is usually the case whenever someone has taken a holiday abroad, coming back is the hardest thing. Thoughts of coming back to your routine and work is disheartening. Also the fact that when you actually step of the plane you are very tired from your flight and if you had parked your car at the airport, the last thing you will want to do is drive home. According to recent research conducted by car insurance companies, that's exactly what you should not do. Getting off the plane jet lagged can seriously affect your driving, make your journey hazardous and put you and other drivers at risk.

There have been a number of car insurance claims relating to this type of scenario and now car insurance providers suggest that if possible, the plane passenger should get someone else to collect them at the airport so they would not have to drive the journey home. Also public transport always being an option as is a taxi.

If there is no alternative but the driver having to drive home it is suggested he or she should rest for period of time, drink plently of fluids and drive at a reasonable and safe speed on the road.
